Statement regarding planned protected industrial action

Queensland Rail can assure customers that it is working hard to ensure train services continue as normal, during planned protected industrial action.

At this stage no significant service disruptions are anticipated, but should the situation change customers will be promptly notified through the Queensland Rail and Translink social media channels.

Enterprise agreement negotiations are continuing ​in good faith and we look forward to reaching an outcome as soon as possible. 

We support the right of unions to take protected industrial action, and the right for employees to participate in this action.

Queensland Rail Travel and freight customers will be contacted directly about service changes that affect them.

Queensland Rail is committed to investing in its people so we can deliver safe and reliable rail services for our customers and support the delivery of our future rail network. ​
